Friday morning – early morning shuttles are scheduled at 6:00 am and 6:45 am thanks to Blue Cross Blue Shield Montana. The two morning shuttles will drop off at the Helena Ridge Trail. This shuttle will pick up in Downtown Helena at the Women’s Mural.

Continuous shuttles will start at noon on Friday, August 12 and will bring riders to MacDonald Pass to ride the iconic Continental Divide Scenic Trail.  The Trail Rider will be taking riders up to MacDonald Pass to ride on the Continental Divide Scenic Trail, from Rimini Road/Priest Pass Road.  This shuttle will run from 12:00 pm to 6:10 pm. Shuttles will be leaving every 40 minutes starting at 12:00.  How many laps can you do?  Check out our interactive map that details each location that the Trail Rider will be servicing.

Enjoy a great ride on the MacDonald Pass section of the Continental Divide Trail! Pick up at Rimini Road (N. Side of US Hwy 12). Note on the pick up location:  People are asked to parallel park along the east side of Rimini Road and the north side of Priest Pass Road.  Please do not block resident’s mailboxes. Remember that it is up to you (the rider) to get to Rimini Road/Priest Pass Road for the shuttle pick up. The Trail Rider is not responsible for bringing anyone to or from Helena.

Riding directions on MacDonald Pass/CDT are as follows: Travel south on CDT Trail No. 337. After 3.5 miles, you will reach a large meadow with a CDT sign. This is where you will need to locate Switchback Ridge Trail No 348, which will take you east to Rimini Rd. The trail is located at the Northeast corner of the meadow. If you follow the northern tree line of the meadow, you will eventually find the trail. There is a sign marking where the trail starts.
